Disneyland

We took Lily to Disneyland for her first time. She loved the Christmas Parade. She was waving at everyone, laughing and clapping with joy! We took her on Small World, Roger Rabbit, Pinnochio, the Carousel and the Nemo Submarine. We would have gone on more, but it was a chilly night and I had a cold that was getting worse. I wasn't going to miss Disneyland just because of a little cold. Special Thanks to Kariane for giving us the opportunity to enjoy Disneyland and for the holidays too!!!

November 2009

We've had a busy last few weeks.
We took Lily trick-or-treating to a few houses on the street. She had her first birthday, which she celebrated with Mommy and Daddy then had her party on the weekend.
She received a lot of clothes, baby dolls, a playground, wagon, and big teddy bear.

Daddy celebrated a birthday also. We just stayed home as a family. We were going to go to Disneyland, but Mommy and Lily were feeling under the weather. Too much excitement that we crashed on the big teddy bear. We've still got

the holidays coming up...can't wait.

October 2009

My sisters, nieces, nephew and parents went with us to our town's fall festival. We fed the animals in the petting zoo, we took a hay ride, pulled by a gigantic tractor. We launched corn, played games, watched the costume contests got a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. It was fun, but a hot 90 degrees. Lily started walking in August and said her first few words in September. She says "woof" whenever we talk about the dog or any dog. She says "daddy". And she can say "ball". She has been on quite a few auditions this summer and fall. She completed a Disney print ad so watch out for her picture on the back of toy packages and possibly a banner at Disneyland. Recently she has auditioned for a tv show on Discovery Health and for Gap. Bo and I attended a baseball fundraiser for our nephew Cole. It was a Halloween Party. Bo dressed up as Santa and I was Amy Winehouse. We are gearing up for the upcoming holidays and Lily's first birthday! Can't Wait!!!

July visit to Utah

This summer, My sisters Amy, Keri and I drove to Utah to visit my sister Julie and her family. Amy brought her kids, Cole and Emma, and Keri brought her daughter Gwen. Our hubbies stayed home for work, and Keri's boys were at Scout Camp. We drove 10 hours split in 2 days. We stayed in Mesquite to break up the trip for the babies. When we got to Utah we did a lot of things. We played at the park, played on the slip n slide, went hiking up to a waterfall, went to the Gateway in Salt Lake, which is an outdoor mall with a water feature that kids play in. We went to a bird aviary and ate homemade ice cream. Most importantly the kids got to play with their cousins. It was a lot of fun!

August 2009

The summer has flown by and Lori is not looking forward to going back to teaching. She wish she could stay home with Lily. She has grown so much. She went from crawling, to pulling herself up to cruising to standing up by herself to now taking 2 steps. She wants to walk like mommy and daddy. This month we went to Daddy's Work picnic at Knotts Berry Farm. The food was good, fried chicken, ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, ice cream, yum! That same day, Lori's high school friend got married. We went the the lavish wedding at the LAX Hilton. What a long day that was. Here are some photos from the wedding. Cool wedding idea: photobooth for the guests...that spit out 2 copies, one to scrapbook for the bride and groom and 1 for the guests to keep. LOVE IT!

July 2009 cont'd

The 4th of July Family Picnic and Fireworks was fun. Lily wore her patriotic dress and played with all of her cousins. Bo and Lori didn't play in the annual softball game this year, what bums! We ate homemade ice cream and watched the kids crack open the pinatas instead. We went back home this year to watch a firework show, instead of setting our own off at Aunt Darlene's. Lily was scared of the first firework and then was mesmerized! She's officially cruising now, which makes her now the queen of getting into everything. We've got to keep a close eye on her now. She's awfully curious and persistant!

July 2009

Lily couldn't wait to get on her feet! She pulled herself up whenever she could. Her personality is really showing now. She tries to be cute and tilt her head. She tries to be funny and falls backwards. She squints and also claps. Lily loves the dog, Daisy. She laughs when Daisy chases a toy. We're gearing up for the Jarman Family 4th of July picnic and fireworks. Lily even has a patriotic dress! We can't wait for food, baseball, ice cream, and pinatas.

june 2009

Summer is here, and Lori is ecstatic! This means no work until September, although she is looking for a teaching job closer to the new home in Corona. No word yet. Bo started a new job working for Kondaur, which deals with foreclosure properties and mortgages. He works long hours some days and sometimes 7 days a week. Last week he clocked in 90 hours!!! It's been rough on all of us, but it won't be like this for that much longer. He likes it and feels as though he is learning EVERYTHING there is to know about mortgages and real estate. Baby Lily in the past few weeks has done a lot. She went from soldier crawling, to crawling to even a little bit of bear crawling. She's a ball full of energy and smiles. She is very curious and loves anything that makes noise. We think her eyes are going to stay the way they are which is a mix between brown and blue-gray. The center is amber brown and fades to bluish gray. No teeth yet. They are slow like mommy's teeth. We are definitely getting summer weather and we busted out the wading pool for Lily. She loves it. And we love summer!

May 2009

Another month has flown by, but summer vacation can't seem to come soon enough. Lori is counting down the school days...the kids and teachers are all "checked out". Bo started a new job working for Kandaur, which works with buying, repackaging and selling mortgages, I think. He works long hours and its exhausting, but this is a major stepping stone for what he really wants to do, which is work for the FDIC. We relax with the baby as often as we can. Lily is sitting up, rocking on her hands and knees, no crawling yet, but she pushes backwards on her belly. She talks "goo goo, ga ga". She has expression and seems to know what she is saying. It cracks me up. Life is still moving along.

April 09

We moved into our house and are settling in. Lori love th fastrak for her drive from work. Hopefully she'll be able to teach closer to home. Lily is sitting on her own and loves to scream. Unfortunately the house echoes when she screams. Bo is starting a new job with Bank of America. He still does printing and real estate on the side.
