For Mommy's 30th birthday we rented a beachhouse in Newport Beach over Labor Day Weekend, but 2 of the days were cloudy, bummer. Two of the days were cloudy, so Lily in her swimsuit and jacket, played in the puddles (not from rain, from daddy washing down the patio).
We went out and this place had a photo booth. Fun!

What a fun weekend. Just our family lounged on the beach Friday. Patty and Sandy dropped by that night. Our family went to the beach in the morning. Christina, Jaime, Anabelle, and Jerome came when Bo had taken the kids to Bo's parents house for the night. We lounged on the patio. We went to watch the Oregon football game (request from Jaime). Maricel met up with us. We went out that night. Perla, Israel and his friends met us there. It was cloudy the next day so not much laying out happened. Erica, Brian and their niece and nephew came to hang out and Janet and Gabreon and Nya came as well. All the kids played. On Labor Day Dustin came by and ate breakfast with us. Then we cleaned up and packed. We went to eat at Yard House with Maricel and Israel and the kids. What a great weekend!

Mommy and Callie went to lunch with "Auntie Sandy" and "Auntie Zevie".

July 2011

Julie's family came to visit and we went many places with them. We went to the Discovery Science Center this day.
Gwen and Lily are exploring.

The kids were in an earthquake simulator.

We all tried out the bed of nails. Don't do if you have a sunburn. I learned the hard way.

The Science Center had a Mr. Potato Head exhibit so Lily got a souvenir. Callie loves to talk to it when she's having tummy time.

Mommy had a day off from the kiddos and went to Catalina Island with her friends. Here we are on the boat.

On the 4th of July we visited Bo's Grandma. Callie had a cold, but she was still smiling up a storm.

Every year on the 4th we attend a huge family reunion picnic. The kids always have fun with a pinata. This was the first year Lily had a whack at it.

When Callie's happy, she's really happy. But when she's upset, she's really upset.

It's amazing how her little smile can brighten my mood instantly.
