Irvine Park/Zoo 2010

Mommy and I went with Aunt Keri and Gwen to Irvine Regional Park where there is the Orange County Zoo.

I love my cousin.

Aunt Keri showed me the bears. There is one behind us in the back. We were looking at another one sleeping in the shade.

There I am in front of the Donkey's butt.

There was a vulture in the tree fanning out its wings and an eagle on the ground.

I brushed the goats. I didn't want to at first.

My cousin Gwen loved the goats...so I went in to see them again. All by myself this time.

Getting into things 2010

What a mess I like to make. Empty out things and get inside them....that's what I like best! First it was my toybox....then the shoe basket.

"Cheese"...there is nothing wrong with what I'm doing at all...

Mommy is out from school and we are having fun.

I love my little pool.

I could play in this for hours.

Here we are at a water park for a friend's birthday...and Lily was clinging for dear life.

She was not liking the splashing water.

But she did love eating chips with this little boy....we're in trouble if she likes boys already.

Ham and Cheese 2010

This is our little ham.

Everytime she sees a camera...she starts saying "cheese".

She thinks the camera is called "cheese".

Are these the school pictures we look forward to...

She's even a ham in her skinnies with her jewelry...

May 2010

Mommy and Lily went to a Memorial Day BBQ with Mommy's friends. Lily went swimming with Auntie Erica and Auntie Maricel (not pictured). Lily likes her turtle floatie and "simming" as she says.

Lily wanted a "bite" of Mommy's hamburger and wanted to hold it all by herself...she ended up eating the whole thing. Mommy is so nice to share.

We went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach Memorial Day Weekend.

The "froggie seeping" as Lily says.

Lily loved looking at the fish, but wouldn't touch the sting rays or starfish. She found a few "nemos".

She kept calling the otters and seals "doggies" and of course we had an encounter with an attempt at procreation. The seals decided to mate....luckily Lily doesn't know anything about that.

Lily got to pick out something from the gift shop, a seahorse, but she calls is a "horsie". What a great family outing.

April-May 2010

Lily loves the playground. She loves the slide, swings, and the horsie the best!

We try to go to the park every weekend. We just bought a bike trailer so Bo and I can ride our beach cruisers and pull Lily in the trailer behind.

You don't have to tell me I'm cute...I know.

Lily likes playing in the backyard on her little playplace. She likes the playhouse part. Mommy isn't allowed in. "No" and she shuts the door on mommy.

Lily wants to be grown up and play with grown up things. She likes wearing our shoes and walking around. She gets into whatever cupboard is around and makes a lovely mess. She especially loves to play with the laptop...so I can only do this when she naps.

She likes to push her baby dolls around the house in the stroller. She likes it so much that whenever we go to the mall we take it and that's how we get her to walk instead of us holding her.

April 2010

Easter Morning Lily ate her breakfast, endured a few pictures in her dress, and then discovered how to hunt for eggs, with help from the dog Daisy. Daisy would run by each of them with Lily not far behind. Lily figured out that she needed to put them in her basket. She was so dependent on Daisy finding them that she was just following the dog around the backyard. Daisy was a good leader in the hunting. Lily loved to find out what was inside the eggs...she found some of her favorite goodies, goldfish, yogos, fruit snacks, m&ms, and lucky charms. Mommy is on Spring Break from work so we are having a lot of mommy and me time. We go to the park, have wagon rides on the block, and watch Yo Gabba Gabba and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Lily now runs to the playground when she sees it.
